Fire. PVC. Black lace and boots. In the words of Julie Andrews in Sound of Music… “These are a few of my favourite things.”
Why stop there? Alternative fashion and accessories show, LondonEdge, celebrated its 32nd show at the Business Design Centre on 6-8 September. The organiser reported a record number of transactions as well as the team’s biggest show for the last three years with new features and exhibitors.
For the first time this season, LondonEdge introduced its new seminar programme, featuring the likes of ReeRee Rockette, Dolls Kill, and The Vintage Academy educating visitors on all aspects of the industry from blogging to online retailing, and new business tips to club culture.
The party celebrated the quintessential bastion of the curious and freaky – the circus sideshow. With an array of performances that were not for the faint hearted, revellers cast their eyes on aerial performances from Cervena Fox plus the Steelcats, Steve ‘Bloody Bones’ Bogaerts, beautiful Bambi Blue and Charlotte Moran all suavely introduced by the cabaret compere Benjamin Louche.
